Getting there and when to go

We used the sources below. We haven't recorded an on-site check, so ask locally about current access and facilities.

What to expect

Teletubbies Hill is a stretch of rounded hills in Nusa Penida’s southeast interior. It’s a different view from the island’s cliff beaches.

After rain, the slopes can be green. In drier weather they’re often gold or brown, so don’t expect every visit to match the bright-green photos online.

Stop on an east-side day

Visit when you’re already heading through the east or southeast. You can combine it with Goa Giri Putri and an east-coast viewpoint. From Crystal Bay or Toyapakeh, leave time for the long return drive.

Weather and comfort

Bring water, sun protection, and a light rain layer if the weather looks unsettled. Shade is limited, and paths can be muddy after rain.

Carry small cash for any current parking or access charge, and keep valuables with you.

Taking photos

The wide landscape is the attraction. Stay on established paths and ask locally before walking farther into the hills.

Plan the rest of the day

The 5D4N itinerary gives the east and west separate days, so you can stop here without spending the whole day in a car.
