Choose your main stops

Kelingking, Broken Beach, and Angel’s Billabong make a practical west-side day. Parking, walking, lunch, and the drive all take time, so leave room between stops.

Work around your boat

A same-day Bali trip starts after arrival and ends before return check-in. Send your ticket to the driver and agree on when to head back. If the boat or road is delayed, remove a stop.

Kelingking: viewpoint or stairs

The viewpoint gives you the famous scene without the beach descent. Going down adds steep stairs and a tiring climb back. Make that the main activity if you choose it, rather than adding it to a full tour.

Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong

Visit both in the same area and allow time to walk. Stay behind barriers at the cliffs and out of Angel’s Billabong pool; waves can sweep across the rock shelf.

Crystal Bay if you have time

Add Crystal Bay for a beach break if the day is going well. Skip it when traffic is slow. Sunset usually doesn’t fit before a same-day boat back to Bali; stay overnight if sunset matters.

A simple west day

Visit Kelingking from above, then Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong. Have lunch and leave enough time for the harbour. That’s better than rushing through every place.

If you’d like the car arranged, our West Coast & Crystal Bay Tour follows this route with a partner driver.

Our West Coast & Crystal Bay Tour costs from IDR 200,000/person with 5 people in one car, or IDR 800,000 for 1 person. That covers the private car, driver and petrol; attraction tickets are extra. Prices confirmed on . See group prices and day trip options for the West Coast & Crystal Bay Tour.

Stay longer for a full day

3D2N gives you one full day without a boat. 4D3N gives two; 5D4N gives three. Use the map and transport guide to arrange the trip.

Questions

One Day in West Nusa Penida: common questions

Can I see the west in one day? Answer

Yes, with a few stops. Boat times and traffic decide how much time you have at each place.

Can I go down to Kelingking Beach? Answer

The climb back is hard. Make it your main activity, skip other stops and avoid a tight return-boat deadline.

How long should I stay? Answer

We recommend at least three days and two nights. That gives you a full day for the west, between arrival and departure.
