Three full days for your outings
Five days and four nights leave three full days between boats. Use one for each coast and one for snorkeling. The order can change with the forecast and your operator’s advice.
Choose a hotel base
Toyapakeh and Ped are convenient for food, arrivals, and many snorkeling pickups. Crystal Bay is a good choice for relaxed beach evenings.
One hotel is simplest. Change hotels only if staying on the east side saves you repeated long drives.
Day 1: arrive and settle in
Meet your driver, check in, have lunch, and explore near the hotel. Confirm tomorrow’s pickup and your snorkeling meeting point. Bring cash from Bali so you don’t need an ATM detour.
Day 2: the west coast
Visit Kelingking, Broken Beach, and Angel’s Billabong. Add Crystal Bay if you have time. If a Kelingking beach descent matters most, remove other stops to allow for the climb back.
Day 3: snorkeling
Confirm the meeting point, equipment, flotation, and guide with your operator. The stops depend on current sea conditions; manta sightings aren’t guaranteed.
If the trip can’t run, swap with the east day or enjoy a local beach day.
Day 4: the east coast
Start early for Thousand Islands Viewpoint, Rumah Pohon, and the Diamond-Atuh area. Choose one beach descent and leave time for lunch and the drive home. Add a temple or inland stop only if you still have time.
Day 5: breakfast and the boat
Have breakfast and stay near the hotel. Confirm your harbour, pickup, and check-in deadline. Keep distant sights off departure morning.
Leave the evenings free
Have a long meal, relax by the pool, or go to a nearby beach. Rest after a day with long stairs instead of adding another outing.
If you want more time
Choose 7D6N for remote beaches, culture, more snorkeling chances, or extra rest. Finish your plan with stays, transport, the map, and weather.
