Five full days

A week gives you time for west, east, snorkeling, and slower days. Move the snorkeling trip to the best suitable day rather than fixing every outing in order.

Choose one or two hotels

One hotel is simplest. Split the stay only if several east-side outings make the extra transfer worthwhile. Compare stay areas and hotel pins before booking.

Day 1: arrive

Meet your driver, check in, have lunch, and explore near the hotel. Confirm the next day’s pickup.

Day 2: west-coast sights

Visit Kelingking, Broken Beach, and Angel’s Billabong. Add Crystal Bay if there’s time. If you want Kelingking’s beach stairs, drop other stops to allow for the climb back.

Day 3: a local beach day

Have a slow breakfast, enjoy a nearby beach or pool, and rest after sightseeing. If you’re near Crystal Bay, return for sunset with your way home arranged.

Day 4: snorkeling

Confirm pickup, equipment, guide, and flotation. The operator may change sites for currents or swell. Wildlife isn’t guaranteed. Swap with another day if conditions are unsuitable.

Day 5: east-coast sights

Start early for Thousand Islands, Rumah Pohon, and Diamond or Atuh. Choose one beach descent and allow time for lunch and the return drive.

Day 6: temple, remote beach, or rest

Choose Goa Giri Putri, an inland stop, or a remote beach that suits your group. Check access first and give a demanding trip its own day. Rest instead if you’d prefer more time at your hotel.

Day 7: departure

Stay nearby for breakfast and a short walk, then leave for the harbour. Confirm your boat’s check-in deadline and allow for traffic.

If the weather changes

Swap land and snorkeling days with your operator’s advice. Remove a remote stop rather than rushing. You have time for another local day.

Finish your plan

Book your stay and transport, check the map and weather, and leave time between outings.
