Getting there and when to go
We used the sources below. We haven't recorded an on-site check, so ask locally about current access and facilities.
Near Kelingking
Paluang Cliff is close to Kelingking and looks across the same coastline from a different angle. You don’t need to attempt the Kelingking beach stairs to enjoy either viewpoint.
Make it optional
Stop if you’d like another view and have time. If you’re also visiting Broken Beach, Angel’s Billabong, and Crystal Bay, skip Paluang when the day starts running late.
Access and road conditions
The last part of the drive can take longer than the map suggests. Ask your driver about the current road and parking before setting a pickup time.
Cliff safety
Stay on established viewing areas and behind barriers. Don’t step onto loose ground for a photo. Wind and rain can make exposed edges harder to judge.
Visiting on a west-side day
Visit immediately before or after Kelingking, then continue to Broken Beach or your hotel. There’s little reason to cross the island just for this stop.
The 3D2N itinerary leaves a full day for the west coast.
