In this guideA relaxed two-night beach stay
A relaxed two-night beach stay
Choose this plan if you want beach time and sunset rather than a full sightseeing tour. For west, east, or snorkeling trips as well, add more nights.
Day 1: arrive and enjoy sunset
Meet your driver, check in, and eat. Go to Crystal Bay for sunset if there’s time.
If you leave Crystal Bay around 7 pm and ride a scooter back uphill, the road has no streetlights. That can be a dangerous ride, especially if you don’t know the road. For relaxed beach days and sunset evenings, stay in lower Crystal Bay, below the hill and within walking distance of the beach. Our top pick is Mahaloka Valley, about a 10-minute walk away.
Made confirmed the road conditions on 6 October 2026. If you’re staying farther away, arrange a driver to wait or ride back before dark.
Day 2: a beach day
Have breakfast, walk to the sand, and rent snorkeling gear if conditions suit you. Break for lunch and a rest, then return for sunset.
You can add a walk towards Pandan Beach if the trail is suitable, but keep the rest of the day simple.
Day 3: breakfast and the boat
Have breakfast or a short beach walk, then meet your driver. Confirm the harbour and check-in deadline before choosing any morning activity.
When to stay longer
Add nights for a west tour, east tour, or snorkeling boat on separate days. See 4D3N and 5D4N, plus the Crystal Bay stay guide.
